Shade, it’s invaluable. We provide options that will help you get the most from your outdoor area, whether it’s a simple pergola or elaborate roof.
Budget permitting, a patio cover or roof is the best way to get this done. Shed roofs, hip roofs, timber frame roofs, the possibilities are limitless. Add finishing touches with can lights, ceiling fans, or ceiling mounted heaters. Consider ceilings with a pine or cedar tongue & groove finish, we have examples of all of these at our showroom.
Many of our projects will incorporate some type of masonry or stucco columns, or perhaps an outdoor kitchen or fire feature. You can look at our photo gallery for more examples of this. Brick, cultured stone, and stucco columns are a classic and very visually appealing addition to any project. Common column sizes range from 12″ square to 24″ square. The higher the structure from the ground, typically a larger column will look more appropriate. We encourage clients with a walkout basement deck to pick a column 16″ or larger.
Low voltage LED lighting is found on 90% of our projects. Typically a combination of rail post and stair lighting, it separates the average deck from one you’ll be proud to entertain on as the afternoon rolls into evening. A keen eye will spot these fixtures on most of our gallery images.
Decks Unlimited is unique in the aspect that we have in house iron fabrication. Almost all of our projects include our own custom built railings. You will be hard pressed to find another outdoor living company that produces ornamental iron products in house. This enables us to offer highly advantaged pricing when it comes to custom built rails, spiral staircases, privacy screen applications, and radius/curved rails. Other applications would include decorative timber connectors, stair gates, and substructures for your built in grill or outdoor fireplace. Simply put, no matter what your need, we are capable.
